Hey guys, I was reading the article in the latest 5.0 and they did a writeup on putting a twin screw on an 03 cobra. Made heinous power, in the end I think it was like 700 to the wheels or something like that. This is obviously a bolt in for you guys sort of, you have to relocate the battery since our battery is on the intake side of the mustangs, but you could just bolt the cobra intake manifold, intercooler and the KB twin screw right up. In the article it talked about how efficient the intercooler was and how it helped them run rediculous amounts of boost cooler. When KB sells his kits he says that intercoolers are not needed because the twin screws are more efficient and dont generate as much heat as the roots blowers, and I know this is true. However I do like the added safety factor of the intercooler. Does anyone know If the cobra intercooler setup would fit on a 2v Roots ready intake like one that would be sold in the KB kit?
I know that this may be out of alot of alot of people's expertise or field of interest since it is for a 2v, and I know there are crown vic boards that I should probably be on, but they just suck so much.
Thanks in advance

I read the same article.
All we need is to flip the inlet to the left side and it should go right on.
Now the pistons would be screaming for sure, remember Cobras have forged slugs in them.
As for your intercooler?? I have no idea.

Allen Engine Devolpment makes intercooled roots type superchargers for 2V modular motors.

You'll notice in that picture from allen engineering that it's of a Crown Victoria as well. The airbox is to the left, not the right.
There used to be a fellow with the ID "Belair" (if I remember correctly)who posted on the old CVO had a Brown 2001 or 2002 cvpi they installed the first one on.
Nice setup

Plain Brown Wrapper mobile. (I still have the pix on one of the old JerseyVics sites)
Had over 300hp and I distinctly remember him saying he couldn't get any traction on stock tires... just goes to show ya that if you're doing a Supercharger set up make sure you include "new" tires in your financing budget.... otherwise, like Kenny Brown says it, what good is horespower if you can't translate it into traction? or something like that... heh
