I went with a #3.

The comments are priceless!! I laughed so hard I am crying. Glad I do not own one of those, or I would really be crying.

How did they make that list without the Chevy Aveo?

Aztek. It's embarrasingly ugly.

It has to be the Aztec.

I'm torn between the Scion and the Element.

I was drawing less boxy cars with crayons when I was three.

I don't know, there are some awful ones to pick from , but among the worst is #8 the " Bruce Villanche " just plain ole big and ugly.

It was close between the Avalanche and the Aztek, but the Aztek won out. :puke:

Woo hoo! My 100th post!

I dont know what you guys are looking at, but come on look at this: http://cartalk.com/content/features/uglycar/vote/aztek.jpg

no distinct shape, no HP, no nothing, plus the first survivor, Richard Hatch, won one of these things which doesnt help it out either. I have to agree most of the others are bad, but not nearly as bad as the Aztek.

Tough choice between the Scion, Element and Aztek (after all, they did limit us to only one vote). Finally had to go with the Pontiac, being an American I felt a certain sense of regret that some of our country's designers can be blamed for that things styling; c-mon, Pontiac/GM is a big North American outfit..... they should have known better.

Yea, I gotta admit, it's a tough choice because of so many qualified platforms. :puke:

I picked the 300c, because I see it so often. Never seen a Scion before though. I'm surprised the Mercedes Smart Car didn't make the list. I see lots of those around here.

Element got mine. Looks worse than that little thing the gorilla in the Pink Panther was driving.

I have to agree the Aztek with the Element and Scion a close 2nd and 3rd.

Choices choices I had to go with the element, the name itself is STUPID. AND HOW MANY PRIMERD AND PAINTED VEHICLES HAVE YOU SEEN SINCE THE 50s.Reminds you af some ones backyard project,BUT they paid for it from a dealer:lol:

Yep...That STUPID plastic crap/paint job on the 'Excrement' make it look like a saddle shoe.... :puke:

The only other vehicle that looks that bad is the Chevy Avalanche...(Avalanche of plastic parts)

There should have been a choice "E- All of the above". I had to go with the mother of all design mistakes the Aztec. What were they thinking?

How did the new Durango not make that list?!!

While thinking of all the butt ugly cars I've seen over the years, I thought this subject had to be cover by this group before. Checked the search engine and sure enough, it made 5 pages last July, just before I logged on.

Many of the opinions are similar WRT the current variety of shameless design attempts like Aztek, Excrement, the Scion XB toaster and the plastic pickup. Some of my all time worst winners are:
1962 Valiant
1960-62 Rambler
Any year K Car
Yugo:puke:
and the orginal WTF is it "It's a Madador"

You know General Motors," Hey lets build this Aztec, even though it looks like a blown up version of a Honda CRX." "Besides who wants to buy a Trans Am when we can design wonderful cars like these" Yea, i'm still pist at GM about that one, GTO over the T/A. GM sucks ass, shame what they did to the T/A. It will come back as a V6 FWD, just watch. Even the GTO isn't a GM idea, that was based on the Holden HSV. I hate GM. Lets build the SSR, it's smaller that an F150 and weighs more, it will sell like hotcakes.........whatever. The GM dealer here had a GTO and SSR on the lot for 9 months, the GTO is gone but the SSR is still here. I hope Ford doesn't end up like GM, But i feel they are on there way. Dodge has the upperhand, and that is a damn shame.

For me, the rolling toasters Element and XB should be banned from the road! Just don't know when the pop tarts will start flying. It would be ugly and dangerous. This from a guy who owned and enjoyed a 75 Saab 99LE Wagonback till I broke the tranny the third time. :D

The Aztec has got to be the ugliest followed by the Avalanche. They both look like they were designed by....well, people with no design experience or aptitude. The first time I saw an Aztec I started to laugh out loud.

I like the 300 and the Magnum...they don't hold a candle to the Marauder but the big car, RWD, V8 is always a concept that I approve of.

The 300 is actually to small for me, and Im not that big of a person, but there isnt enough headroom, and its to narrow, every time I shut the door my leg gets crushed between it and the steering wheel, If I were to be broadsided in that car it would be really bad. Also, they should have given it a full frame.

Also, I dont find it very ugly.

I agree. I'm 6'5" and 300 lbs. I was disappointed with the headroom. As well, with the doors being so high it would be hard to rest your arm on an open window.

It's a good thing I love my MM. The MM, GM, & CV are the only cars that I can be comfortable in.
