Has anyone seen it ???

Haven't been looking recently but I found some late last year. I bought 2 cases because I did find it difficult to get sometimes.

It's still listed on Mobil one's website. Maybe some retailers removed it to make room for the newer products, as not many cars specify the 0W20 or 5W20.

It's at my local Strauss auto. I'm headed to Walmart to pick it up in a little bit tho cause i find it to be cheaper there.

Walmart had 0-20 in the service area. I asked they brought out a case. If I recall it was FMCO brand. This was last year.

When I went recently to get this oil for the cars, service was closed. They do have Mobil 5-20 on the shelf - $4/qt.

The WalMarts here have the new plan-o-gram for their shelves up
and the plan-o-gram only shows 5W-30 as the thinnest grade of Mobil1.

I'm waiting on a response from Mobil now...

I thought our 4.6 only uses 6 quarts with a filter ?
and you couldn't have shared your secret price with the rest of us ???

MENINBLK,

Although I have not yet changed the oil in my "New To Me" Marauder, I have changed it many times in my Continentals, (same Intec engine) which also calls for 6 quarts with filter. In fact, the Continentals really takes 6½ quarts. It should be the same with the Marauder.

Chiefbob is right....the Marauder takes 6.5 quarts of oil
with oil and filter change...6 quarts (only) is short!

Gotta Love It! :burnout:

...huh....sorry about that....thought most new about it already--about 6 and 1/2 or more with filter,,,and -it's the Motorcraft oil...and yes...Wal-Mart, especially the Supercenters have it the most....it usually goes quick when they get it in stock...so ask if it's not there....when next shipment is due........Tom

Last week I was at our local Walmart and the 5w-20 Mobil 1 was no where to be found. 5w-30 was plentiful.

The Mobil website doesn't show Mobil1 0W-20 anymore.
They do show a Mobil1 5W-20 and a 5W-30 now.
They also claim that Autozone sells the 5W-20 oil now, but for how much $$$.

I just changed my oil and put in 5W-20 Mobil 1 fully synthetic.....they quit making the 0W-20 which was for 5W-20 applications anyway......picked it up at Advanced Auto Parts......it was about time.....

Since SPRING is here and summer not far away, we hope... ,
I stopped into Wally World and picked up a few 5qt containers of Mobil1 5W-30 @ $19.98 each.
The price of the Quart containers went from $4.84 to $4.88 with the newly designed bottles.
So now I've got enough Mobil1 to last me for the next 3 motor oil changes, and
I've made sure that I've got 7 quarts for each change now.

Is there any disadvantage to running 5-30 Mobile 1 other than a slight decrease in mileage?

I don't think there will be any decreases in gas mileage.
You will actually improve your gas mileage by keeping a brick under the accelerator. ;)
