Just wanted to keep this info around for those looking for a CAI.

It gained less then 5rwhp and only 5 rwtq. Price $289

Here is a 3rd party test done on the JLT induction kit:

I can appreciate that this is your product and you are rightfully crowing about the difference between it and a much higher priced part.

However, you must consider that the two dyno tests were done on different dynos in different shops. A 5 rwhp difference can be the result of one dyno being "tighter" than the other, as well as other factors (atmospherics).

To be fair, someone should have Lidio dyno your intake to compare to Bigslim's data, or somebody have your third party dyno test a K&N.

Your intake certainly has the advantage in price even if the perfomances were exactly the same, and it it does have a better look, imo.

Oh, and you're kinda overstating the price for the K&N by about $20, but conisidering your price is still way below the best K&N price, it doesn't matter much.

.Sorry Donny I must disagree with you on this one.
A dyno is a tool to test gains or loses.
Both tests were base lined and final on the same dyno same day.
This is how it's done.
If there was a 5 rwhp gain on one dyno then there should be a 5 rwhp gain on any dyno.
Same goes true for loses. Just because someone uses a Dynojet or a Mustang dyno doesn't matter. It's the gains or loses that are found at that time with all dynos done same day same dyno.

Please don't make this about dyno's and confuse folks. The fact is the K&N was dyno proven to gain less then 5 rwhp (for what I thought was $289)
If they lowered the price great. It's still high.
Then the JLT was dyno proven to make over 10rwhp for $120.

Gains are gains and yes 5 rwhp difference isn't much BUT the $150 price differance along with that 5 rwhp is what makes the JLT a great deal!:beer:
