Got my Ford Racing 4.10 gears installed today! Took about 2 hours & 45 minutes. It was so easy that my installer knocked $50.00 off the install fee because it went so fast. He used the same shims from the 3.55's and the pattern was perfect. Test drove... no noise... feels quicker off the line... Installer said to wait about 200 miles before really "testing" them. Used redline 75 -90w oil. The Marauder... she be happy!!!! :banana2:

Curious as to how you adjusted the odom and shift points, do you have a tuner or did you have a chip reburn?

Bought an SCT 9100 from DR. Has a "tune" with the stock 3.55's & with the 4.10's. I'd highly recommend the purchase of the SCT 9100 from one of our vendors.

:bows: Congrats on the new mod. It just lets me know what I want to do when I get to cracking on my mods. I plan on doing the 4:10's, the SCT9100 and the JLT CAI. Not sure which one first, but there won't be much time between them.

Do you happen to know the file name of the program Dennis installed?

Make sure whoever changed the gears added the required friction modifier to the lube oil in the rearend !!!!

Haven't tried any high speed runs yet. According to some other posts people have had good luck getting their original driveshaft balanced. That's the way I'll go before spending $500.00+ for a MMX driveshaft. :D

According to the Ford Performance parts dealer (Carolina Mustang Cary, N.C), the Redline lube has the friction modifier already mixed in. ;)
