Just got a call from my son. He is back at Fort Hood following a 12 1/2 month deployment to Iraq. :D All is well and he is planning on some serious downtime and relaxation. :up: He won't make it back to this area for another couple weeks, so his mom and I will have to wait for the :party:

I would like to thank the members of the MM.Net for their thoughts, prayers and well wishes. They are certainly appreciated.

Looks like I will be able to retire the "Blue Star Banner" for awhile. Now, if I can only find another avatar to use. :rolleyes:

Glad to hear that he made it back safe and sound!!! Tell him if he ever makes it to a CAM Meet the drinks are on me. :beer: Also let him know that Chris and I thank him for his service to our country. God Bless...:flag:

I hope you can bring him by when he gets home for a CAM meet. Just make sure someone can drive home after we all get through thanking for his service:)

Again, thanks for all the kind words. I am sure that he would like to see the CAM gang. However, his window of opportunity may be rather limited near the end of April when he is back in Virginia for a brief visit ... it'll depend mostly on timing.

I'll let him know. Thanks !!! :flag: He doesn't get down to the Houston area much at all and only has a couple more months left at Fort Hood (after 63 so far :rolleyes: ) before moving on to Missouri. I get to buy the beer, steak and lobster when he comes to visit in a couple weeks. :up:
