w/s wiper problem

Had a funny thing happen yesterday. When I left the house yesterday morning, my wipers started acting funny. They quit working on intermittent and low speeds, and they would only work on high. However, when I turned it off from the high position, they would not parked. They just stayed wherever they were on the windshield.

I made an appt with the dealer to take it in this morning, and of course they were working normally again. I'm gonna leave it with them at the next oil change to check it out.

Anybody had a similar problem? The multifunction switch on the Expeditions and F150's used to be the source of many problems, but I haven't heard anything like that on this board.

My Marauder is in the shop with a wiper issue.

Second time, each not the same as the other problem.

This time mine come on when ever they want?

Last time it was with the headlights.

Mine acted up last fall. It only happened when it was raining or wet out. Wipers would mysteriously come on, change speed... This lasted about a week, then it stopped.????

I noted on my 03 MM Oasis report (I got it used) that the wiper transmission had been replaced twice under 10K miles due to "popping and clicking noise". I'm sure this doesn't help much...
