computer question

I want to order the chip but I don't know the EEC code. Do I have to remove the computer to find it out or does anyone out there happen to know it.:help:

The catch-code for your ECM is on a small sticker on the A-pillar, right near the driver's door upper hinge...it's a white sticker, black lettering, with a bar-code...look for something like "BMD0" or a similar 4 digit alpha-numeric.
