The same guy got me for $30.00 on Wednesday in Virginia. Heard he goes by the alias of "Sunoco 93" in these parts. :D

That's very good! Yesterday afternoon in Vancouver at my local Esso regular was $1.00 CDN per litre....which roughly translates to about $3.10 USD per gallon. What particulary irritates me is that gas stations will change the posted price several times throughout the day. Does this phenomenon happen in other places or are our gas stations particularly greedy?

Here in Kentucky, the price of gas roller-coasters by the day! I have been driving for 25 years, and have never seen it like this. :mad2:
Within hours, I have seen the price jump 29 cents.
Someone's eating steak every night while we can only afford a White Castle hamburger or two!

Nuther' victim here.
$2.379 a gal for 93 octane the other day.

15.972 gallons

Me $38.00 poorer.
Think I need to take a nice LONNNNNG road trip & get some miles on this car so it gets up to it's break in point.
4700 miles & I've yet to EVER squeeze anymore than 325 out of tankful ... & that was on the MD - FL trip home when I bought it - when it only had between 80-1200 miles on it.
The above fill up netted me 276 miles on the clock.
Mostly city ... one highway jaunt from Port Charlotte down Rt75 to Ft Myers ... averaging 75 - 80 mph.
Had maybe a hair below an 1/8 of a tank left ... & I most times I always manually squeeze a MINIMUM of at least another dollar-fifty's worth or so in the tank once the pump clicks off(which is why it took almost 16 gals).
Long story short - 17.28 MPG this time around.
All stock drivetrain sans 9100 Dennis tune.
Maybe it's time to justify doing gears for the increased "around town" effieciency(reduced gear "hunting").
lol

I have a program selection for 89 octane....never thought I'd really use it...
I mean, what's the point? I can just go drve the VIC SOHC and fill it with 87 and get 24 mph...
I want to drive the Marauder...the way it should be.
This fuel fiasco sucks.

Just got robbed this morning for $35. picked the car up from the dealership:)
Problem is the Marauder gets better MPG than the pick-up....18 vs 12:mad:
I just try not to let the gas crap get on my nerves.
Funny thing is most of use the car to put a smile on our face:)
Just keep :):):) when you fill it up!
Remember its only money:laugh:
