Yeah it's (http://automobilemag.com/reviews/convertibles/0504_mercedes_benz_sl65_amg/) way too expensive. But is pretty cool.

I fell in love as a teenager with the first AMG HAMMER ever produced.

The ultimate in bad azz luxary to this day.

The first ones only came in black.....sounds familiar....;)

There is always a way...just look for the space. Consaquently the space is there, relocate the battery to the trunk, have custon headers built, run them into a ssingle down pipe to feed an insanly large single T60 turbo. Pipe into the Intake and enjoy 11lbs of boost.

Awesome car. Totally upside down on the dollars/fun ratio though. The one thing that the author didn't mention was that the mustangs that were spanking him in the other lane were doing it at under $40k.

Wow! What a bargain. $180,000 and you get only 11.85. Doesn't add up to me.

Oh, That car is no bargain and it's not for guys like us....BUT it does allow a rich old fart to drive it off the Mercedes lot and destroy almost every Marauder on this board.

And the guy was not even racing it correctly for best 'ET's... :(

That was a great article to read.
The writer knew that he wasn't a good driver and had fun with it.

I like how he talks about the disadvantages
that a car with that much power has on street tires.

I liked how he jokes about the track officials telling him that he needs a roll cage.
