Ok,

I know that this topic has been asked before, but I am going to "re-visit" it.....It is time to renew my IL plates. I currently have FIVE OHH, but I am concerned about some lowlife deciding to take out some frustration on my baby because of the plates.

I have come up with three new ideas....I just checked and they are all avaliable in IL.

#1) WT WZ THT
#2) FST MERC
#3) QWK MERC

I am leaning towards #1, but thought I would seak input from the rest of you! Any other suggestions are appreciated.

Keep in mind that I have a bone stock Marauder (performance wise).

Thanks in advance,

Douglas :)

I used to run L.E. tags on my T-Bird, but I when I got the MM I didn't want people to believe I was trying to be like the police, (which I am) so I got something different.

Go with the first one. I believe other members here already have #2, and #3. I'm a big fan of being unique...#1 is just that.

Unfortunately in Illinois you can not mix letters and numbers. On cars and pick up trucks you can have up to seven (7) digits. Letters followed by numbers on cars or numbers follwed by letters on trucks. For example here is an old car plate that I used to have TWS 3. If it was on a truck it would be 3 TWS. Don't ask me why they do this, I didn't vote for the moron that is running the Secretary of State office but for now we have to deal with it.

I wouldn't worry about the plate at all.
The same moron that would take it out on Five O will take it out
on any plate just because you have a vanity plate.
AND changing your vanity plate is going to incur charges
for making a NEW vanity plate also...

I am gonna vote for #3 because many people won't be able to figure out the first one ... especially if there are no spaces between "WTWZTHT".

I remember getting behind a car that had "PRZTLRD" ...... all the way home, the only thing that I could come up with was "Pretzel Rod". :o Then, a little later, it finally struck me as being "Praise the Lord" ............ but I still think Pretzel Rod was kinda neat.
