Okay, this one is going to sound really strange.
I was using the facilities in my upstairs bathroom (you know what I mean) and flushed, I then noticed that the water went down "clockwise".
I thought to myself that doesn't seem right so I went downstairs to flush that toilet and the water went down "counter-clockwise".
I double checked both and I got the same results.
Now living in the northern hemisphere (P.A. USA) they should both flush counter-clockwise, right?
So what's the deal with this?
Do I live at the center of the universe?
Should I quit my job and sell tickets?

As a note I believe the upstairs toilets are "low-flow".

Check out this URL (http://www.snopes.com/science/coriolis.htm) for a pretty good explaination of the Coriolis Effect.

Now, the other question that comes up is, why don't you get a hobby?

But officer, I don't know why I couldn't stay in my lane...maybe it was the coriolis effect!

In my house two go counterclockwise and one clockwise. Probably has something to due with the manufacturing of said commodes.
