I am usually in Court most days. Well, today my hearings are all by telephone, so I don't need a suit! Ahhh, the small pleasures in life....

Anyway, no suit and some warm weather, means that the leather jacket makes its spring debut. Gosh it feels good to be in leather!! Too bad I can't wear this jacket to Court!

:P

(AP) - A Charlottesville man was arrested on charges of pulling over a driver in Alexandria (website</B> (http://www.wjla.com/externalwebsite.hrb?website=ht tp://ci.alexandria.va.us/) - news</B> (http://www.wjla.com/search.hrb?s=key&k=alexandria)) and claiming to be a police officer, authorities said Friday.
<!PARA1!>
Steven W. Shifflett, 51, was arrested at his home on Feb. 18 and charged with impersonating a police officer. He was later released on bond.
<!PARA2!>
According to police, Shifflett was driving a dark blue Ford Crown Victoria - a type of car commonly used by police - when he made a predawn traffic stop on Seminary Road late last year. But the man he allegedly pulled over is a retired police officer who began asking questions, at which point the suspect drove away.
<!PARA3!>
"It bothers us that this guy is a Charlottesville resident and he's in Alexandria at 5:30 in the morning on Dec. 16. Why? It begs the question why is this guy up in our area, and what's he been doing, and how many people has he stopped before?" said Lt. John Crawford, an Alexandria Police spokesman. Alexandria is about 110 miles northeast of Charlottesville.
<!PARA4!>
Crawford said there were no other reported cases of police impersonation in Alexandria. But police are concerned about any unreported incidents, or similar crimes that might have happened elsewhere in the Washington, D.C., area.
<!PARA5!>
"We're asking in this region, hey, take a look at this guy and tell us if you've got anything similar to this," Crawford said.
<!PARA6!>
There have been unsolved police impersonation cases in Prince William Count (website</B> (http://www.wjla.com/externalwebsite.hrb?website=ht tp://www.co.prince-william.va.us/) - news</B> (http://www.wjla.com/search.hrb?s=key&k=william co)) y in recent months, but Crawford said Shifflett does not match the description of that suspect. </B></STRONG></SPAN></B></STRONG></SPAN>

What you guys don't get is that he, (Shifflett) thrives on the attention, so you can't embarass him because he feels all attention is good attention.

Squirrel? yes, Odd? Yes, police wannabe? yes, embarrassed? nope!!!

He's not right, he has an obsession he takes up the mantle of unmasking impersonators, all the while commiting the same crime..

He looks at all the threads about him and brags he is so important that all these people talk about him. he has achieved something he wants, even though it came through an arrest.

He at best will get a fine and probation as it is only a misdemeanor, unlike here where it is a felony.

remember the sign at the zoo....don'T feed the monkey!!
