OUCH!!!

That is one mashed Mercedes! :(
What happened?? Tech didn't position the lift pad correctly??

If that were my SUV, the Service Dept. would walk right over to the Sales Dept. and order me a NEW Mercedes.....
NO DISCUSSIONS with the Service Manager about how good their body shop is....

It's just another NHTSA or IIHS test. Can't remember what it's called or what exactly they were testing. But I know this vehicle got five stars.

I saw that happen once at a Sunoco station in metro Detroit. It was one of those two post hoists and one of the posts failed. But it wasn't a MB. It was some sort of little GM, Cavalier maybe. Being a gas station, there wasn't enough room for it to roll completly over so it ended up laying on it's side on top of the old Chrysler in the next bay. I think that the shop ended up buying two cars out of the deal but the total value of both wasn't $10K.

That must have been a customer complaint...

Customer:
"No matter how hard I try, I can't get it to TURN OVER!."
Technician:
"Look here...See how easy it is !!!"

Here is the address of the towing service that helped out...

Lamona Towing Service
2999 South Orange Avenue
Fresno, CA 93725

At least it would never happen on the EAST COAST.

I can see it now; NHSB Bulletin: M class Mercedes unsafe at any speed; all vehicles recalled until rollover issue is resolved.

Beautiful garage though; gives one an air of confidence, y'know?

Bah. It's a Mercedes, probably at a Mercede's shop charging Mercedes prices. They'll be able to afford replacing that and every other car in their family

If only he also had a marauder, he could have kept it safe at night in the trunk.

He took 2 spots so it fit perfect once we turned it. He couldn't leave until one of the people next to him left. We didn't do car tipping though...wasn't into vandalism.
