Pink cuffs
The latest weapon in the humiliation arsenal of Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio was recently introduced with great fanfare in Phoenix, Arizona. The toughest sheriff in the land has purchased pink handcuffs. The good news is that the cuffs are not a concession to the fashion conscious prisoner, rather they are designed to cause an inmate embarrassment so he’ll think twice the next time he or she’s going to knock over a liquor store. The bad news is the handcuffs cost about a buck more than the regular ones. Sheriff Joe also had some advice for the folks over at Major League Baseball for handling that nasty steroid scandal. Joe says he’d require guilty players to wear pink uniforms and shoes with matching bats and gloves. Brilliant!

That is a good idea, although from watching "COPS" so much I've seen quite a few "guys" that would prefer pink cuffs :shake:

Thing is the Sheriff knows how run a jail and most really don't want to return. When the Feds told him he must provide cable tv for convicts, he did, the Disney Channel and the Weather Channel. :razz:

I have a pair of pink underwear that he makes all of the inmates wear. No, I wasn't jail. I purchased them as a donation. I even met him several times and also autographed the underwear for me. :)
