Whoo hoo! 2nd place in the Art II category.
I didn't even expect to win. Anything. I was only excited that I could enter a photo and show a few teahcers. I wasn't even trying! My "location" in the area was poor-ish, I felt, and there was some good competition. It was not in categories such as "photography" and "watercolor" by by class, Art I, Art II, Art III and AP Art History.
Photography isn't even something we study, but something a few students and I enjoy, including our Senator's nephew (one of my favorite local guys), Hunter DeMint who specializes in film photography.
But wayyy cool! It's for this photo, a good one and in my top 10, but not my absolute favorite. I get $25 or something of that sort too!
