For whatever reason whether it is heat/ air all comes from defroster. Then at times it will go to the mode i have selected. If i try to change it goes back to defrost??? Very strange any ideas. Just started happening. Doesn't matter what mode (floor vent defrost... all comes from defroster) :help:

Sounds like a trip to the dealer is in your future unless you can find a vacum leak. All automobile HVAC systems have a failsafe design, if there is a vacum leak, the system dirrects all heat / AC to the defrosters to keep the windshield clear. :D

And this is also a way to know that you have a vacum leak as well..I didn't know this .Thanks.

First place I would look at is the vacuum reservoir located under your hood on the drivers side fender well. It is just a square black box with a couple of vacuum lines going to it. Just make sure there connected. You can also look on the passenger side near the firewall. The vacuum line enters the passenger compartment threw there. Make sure the vacuum connection are good there also. Good luck. :)
