:alone: Did the paperwork and took delivery of my Maruder today. The Canadian dealers are just getting them in the last 3 weeks or so.
The dealer is going to keep it on the showroom floor for me until spring. (It's cold up here) One thing that has me a little worried are the paint chips and blisters. Has any one else had these problems? The dealer is going to have them fixed, but still, $46,000 and crapy paint.
But I still love it, and will be a fine collector next to my 69 and 70 Mararder's.

The car is black. The worst blister is on the drivers door just above the mirror. Minor ones are on the rear passenger door.

I bet you'll be paying a lot of visits to that showroom in the next couple of months!

They can rework (wet sand) the paint on it. No real big deal... If not, I'd pick out another one.

Can Mar, did you say $46,000? or is this a misprint?? Man, I would never leave my MM on a dealership show room floor for any period of time... Too many people swarming and buzzing around with belt buckles and purses etc., Your too nice!

Alot of people complaining of paint issues, even me.
DON'T leave it in the showroom. IT WILL BE scratched up over time.
If you have to, take delivery, find a boat shop that preps boats for the winter, and SHRINK WRAP the entire car!

Or go down to your local theater supply and get some of those Big Purple Velvet ropes and some of them Gold stands and surround the car with signs that say "DONT TOUCH"

OR just take delivery and drive it! Hell, you don't have the salt problem we have in the east (on the other hand, YOU have Ralph Klein!).
