Would anyone be interested in getting in on a group purchase of a G-TECH Pro performance meter ?.

http://www.gtechpro.com/

Looks like they are retailing @ $199(SS) & $299(RR).

I'd be most interested in the RR model, & would like to be able to do one for less than $299.

Any of you supporting vendors here sell these ? ..... & if not, any of you interested in carrying them ?.

If I need to make the initial contact with someone at G-TECH to make an initial inquiry & get some basics ..... I'd be happy to.

I voted no.

I would like to have one ,But I'd rather have a better reason to need one at this point;)

Damm! I got one already! I got the SS and like it. I would have liked the other one that has several more options like portability between other vehicles..

I've spoken to other Mustang guys that have it and have found that this thing is acurate.

If I ever get to the track I'll see for myself.

I just did a firmware upgrade on an older Competition model and it added Road Racing mode. :woohoo:

I wouldn't mind having one so I voted for the SS. I have a list of stuff to get for the car but could bump this up on the list if it was at a $$deal$$, otherwise I could use the flows, tint, intake, etc first.

I love toys, I'll buy an RR if you can get the group price down to 259.00 It's still a toy, so, price figures, sorry.

Looks like you're the lead on this, let us know?

Heres' the latest ...

Called GTech sales directy :

310 452-0030 Ext 4.

Was told they don't do group purchases anymore.

One of our supporting vendors here approached me & said his supplier only carries the RR model.

Best price - $285.00 shipped. Was told not much of a profit at the price ... but he would do it just to help us out.

On-line browsing pretty much comfirms you won't do any better than this, cept' a few bucks or two(lunch money at the most - would rather give it to one of our own).

Guess it's up to others what they want to do.

If that vendor wants to chime in here - feel free.

NOTE ... this isn't a MUST HAVE item for me.

If this doesn't happen, it's not the end of the world.

In fact after giving it some thought ...

Maybe I'll just snipe an older base model GTech off of Ebay.

At almost $300 for a gadget that will only see occassional use ... "mightaswell" take that $300 X it by 2 ...

And get a set of 4.10's in.

Your call peeps ...

Even if I do pass on the RR for now ... no reason the rest of you can't still go for it.

Thanks for the effort, but it's still a toy and overpriced at that. 250. was my limit, and I'm out.
