The previous owner of my car had those stick on mirrors to help see blindspots. I removed them and in the process scratched the crap out of both mirrors (I couldn't tell until night when light reflected off of it). Any ideas on ow to fix them? OR can you recommend a replacement?

He has mirrors listed for $44.95 each side.

The dealer has a part number for the glass and the plastic case. This IS a servicable item even if they've never serviced it before. The full dealer price of this dealer item should be $5 to $20 per side. Base part number for RH is 17K707, for LH is 17T675. Don't let them tell you it's not servicable, it's a Ford requirement that the mirror glass is servicable.
You can also buy just the piece of glass from auto parts stores like Murrys. However, this won't have the heater attached. If you go this route you'll have to break the existing mirror to get it off the plastic backing plate and then stick the new piece of mirror glass onto the plastic backing plate. Not the same as having an OEM mirror.
Hope this helps.

Those are the entire assemblies, aftermarket, and unpainted. IIRC you can get just the glass from the Dealer.

AHESS: "...you've got points..."
Thanks. I need glass as well. I wiped them once in the winter and scratched up the glass nicely.
