Yup! Tomorrow I'm offically legal to "do things" as one of our customers at
Logan's said the other day. Tall lady who was hitting on me and asking about all of our beers and wine. I told her I couldn't serve it yet because I'm not 18.
To my suprise our manager kicked her out 5 mintes after I sat them at a table saying "We have a restraining order against her...she showed herself last time she was in here, piss drunk. Tried to come back in after we kicked her out 3 times and was attempting a few break-in's in our customers cars. Police took her away and we have an official restraining order in the back."
Anyways, I'm going to be 18! How exciting! Don't know what I'm doing for my birthday...just going to hang out with a few friends downtown I suppose.
Thought I'd share the news...ya'll have a great week wherever you are!:D
EDIT: How about that! RoyLPita points out that I hit post 3000 upon publishing this! Cool!

Yeah I've got one, stay out of that place! You'll leave broke! Take any ATM or Credit Card you may have and leave it at home if you decide to go and bring cash, but not too much, and don't worry about single bills because they have more than the bank.
I said too much
Happy Birthday, soon

Lines form on my face and hands
Lines form from the ups and downs
I'm in the middle without any plans
I'm a boy and I'm a man
I'm eighteen
and I don't know what I want
Eighteen
I just don't know what I want
Eighteen
I gotta get away
I gotta get out of this place
I'll go runnin in outer space
Oh yeah
I got a
baby's brain and an old man's heart
Took eighteen years to get this far
Don't always know what I'm talkin' about
Feels like I'm livin in the middle of doubt
Cause I'm
Eighteen
I get confused every day
Eighteen
I just don't know what to say
Eighteen
I gotta get away
Lines form on my face and my hands
Lines form on the left and right
I'm in the middle
the middle of life
I'm a boy and I'm a man
I'm eighteen and I LIKE IT
Yes I like it
Oh I like it
Love it
Like it
Love it
Eighteen!
Eighteen!

Nope, you are 100% correct. First MM owners here that I met and got some seat time in a Marauder with, S/C or otherwise. I was just a kid then, but at least you helped get my interest going in Marauders. When I'm out with that friend of mine I brought along, we still tell people about what it's like to ride in a car that big and that fast!
Thanks to all of you very much, and have a great weekend!:D

HAPPY BIRTHDAY James!!
:woohoo:

What Haggis said.
Read your post on the web site in your sig. I know what you mean about being amazed you've made it
this far. I'm still amazed every year I make it through. I also like the way you think, your on the right track.
Hope to meet you someday.
BTW, If you are gonna smoke a stogy a word of warning. If your not a smoker and I'm pretty sure your not,
be advised that cigars are a lot stronger than cigarettes and could leave you woozy and :puke: sick.
This is experience speaking. I was lot younger than 18 and it was only a tiparillo, given to me with my Dads
permission, by one of the men working for him who I had been buggin for about an hour to give me one to smoke.
I'd only puffed on it a little when the world began to spin and they say I turned green and then the :puke: began.
I was sicker than a dog, my Dad had to take me home, told my mother it must have been something I ate, trying
to cover his a--. I know now that he was trying to teach me a lesson, and it worked, I don't smoke cigars,
wish I could say the same for cigarettes. Any way if you start feeling a little woozy, put it down and maybe
you won't get sick.
Hope this advice isn't to late.

When I met you at MVII, I kinda took a likin' to you. To see a young man so full of enthusiasm and hope for the future restored my faith in the future. The whole world is out there waiting for you---how your life turns out is strictly up to you. Remember, when you face life changing decisions, go with your gut feeling and remember , there is no other place in the world where you have the absolute right to make those decisions. Learn from your mistakes and take responsibility for your actions--yesterday is gone---today is now ---and the future belongs to you. God bless you in the coming years and may all your dreams come true. By the way, I'll be 98 when you're 40--give me a call and we'll go drag racing---Good Luck, Maury

OK, Maury, here's the plan, as I see it. By the time he's 40, James will be President, at least. He'll send his secret service guys for us and start the weekend with a cookout at Camp David, then we'll all go to Mason Dixon Drag-O-Way for the antique auto drag day, featuring Marauders and Impala SS head to head. :D
