Marauder Jacket

I'd like to thank the following people for my MM jacket that arrived today:
1.) ME!!
2.) The guy who sold it to me.
3.) Fed-Ex.

4.) The person who outbid me on E-Bay, waited over 2 weeks

to not pay, and allowed me, the next highest bidder to get it.


Thank you all, it is a very nice 229 dollar jacket.

Who do we contact to obtain our MM jacket? I bought my MM in Jan and no jacket yet? Asked the dealership ONCE,....they said they'd look into it, still waiting. Do I contact Mercury direct? Thanks for any direction.

Roadwarrior... search this site and you'll find contact info for requesting the jacket. Sounds like CBT got his from eBay. I believe to get a free jacket, that you paid $30,000.00+ for, you must be the original purchaser of a Marauder.

I was going to start another thread but held off but since its back; I sent the guy an email as to the status of my order. I bought my car in September, got my first card in December and got a second card last month! Anyway, I need a larger than 2xl size and earlier I was told they were on order but would be coming in soon. Well after my email last week asking where the heck was it, the guy responds they havent even been ordered yet and they are awaiting a response from Ford about the jacket program before they even submit the order. All I know is I received two cards from Ford saying I was due a jacket and either they are going to send me one or I will begin to look at my alternatives. I still have that second card.

That's why us large persons love these big boats. :D

I'd push a little on the jacket isssue, 'cause in my view, it won't be long before Ford pulls the plug on the Jacket program, which, by the way, the dealers know very little. Fact is, I think it's safe to say, they knew very little about the car. :depress:

That's not quite correct...

You visit your dealer and ORDER your Jacket.
All orders must be PAID IN FULL.
Once the financials are taken care of, you get to bring home
the promotional stuff, like the Marauder...

When your Jacket is complete, you'll get a card in the mail,
asking for the delivery address, and the serial number of your Marauder,
just to verify that you've already gotten your promotional package.

If you don't have a serial number, then it opens a can of worms,
since there aren't any more NEW Marauders available, to give for promotional purposes.

The guy at Ford told me that they are taking orders and will put it through when they have enough. He quoted me $150.
So all of you... call him and ask for a new jacket. It will be good.

Just called and there is a new person once again handling the program. She informed me that the jackets are still on back order and they should start shipping in a couple of weeks.

I have been waiting for 10 months now, and have submitted 2 cards. I really need a 3XL, but they told me that _only_ 2XL's were the maximum size and that those were on backorder.

Mike Keso called me back a month ago and said that they were only waiting for the largest size 2XL and then they would get it out to me.

I wish I had known that you could get a larger size. Guess I should have insisted on it and held out like some of you did. Once I lose all my extra weight though (in a few years?) the 2XL should fit just fine!:)
