The Car Talk site asked their fans for the ugliest cars. The comments are good too.

Dodge is doing well, with three in the top ten. 300C, Magnum and the PT Cruiser. Oh wait... The top ten ugliest cars!

Interesting how they insulted the Avalanch for it's plastic, yet the picture they displayed was a newer avalanch with the plastic *deleted* from it's body panels.

I appears to me that Ford Motor Co. was the one that came up with that, so they could promote their ugly pieces of ****.

Oh. The NPR was sponsoring it. That explains it. Magnum? 300C? :bs:

I think we helpped vote on this a while back. They named the winers/lossers this morning on my radio show.

Yeah but it still had too much plastic.

Interesting:: Those tree huggers never offered up their Saabs for the list, although I can't argue with their choice of the Pontiac Aztec. ;)

Some good lines from the site:
On the Subaru: Should be a warning for all scientists working on genetic engineering. This is the kind of thing that can result, if you're not careful.
The Avalanche: Chevrolet teams up with Tupperware to design their latest truck!
The 300: Who knew so many pimps were wannabe bluehairs?
The PT Cruiser: Add running boards and it looks like the cars used in Eliot Ness versus Al Capone — except that the height requirement for G-men would have been, say, 4 foot 6.
It's disheartening when I see one with flames that are only PAINTED on.
The H2: Stands for "hideous, squared."
The Element: Every time we see a Honda Element, we wonder, "What element is it? Butt-uglium?"
The Scion: Its appearance should serve as an innovative but effective first line of defense against car theft.
The Axtek: Let's face it, not every engineering student gets an "A". The "D" students need work also.

Saabs used to be the ugliest cars on the road in their quest to be distinctive. But, Saab got complacent and the rest of the world has caught up.
