It is pretty flat on the inside as it is. That large hump is right above the gas tank...

Just don't mount your amp to the front of the trunk,or you'll be smellin' gas!

Yeah it looks like a good mounting point, but a big no-no, there is only about 1/2 inch between the trunk and the gas tank.

And there's yet another reason to buy a Marauder. Lotsa room for installation of whatever goodies your heart desires.

Hey Donny...you aren't pumping Flight of the Bubble Bee through that thing like Duvall does in Apocolypse Now? Nothing like the smell of burning rice in the morning. :hotrice:

Remove the liner from the package tray. Clean the primed metal surface. Cut 3 pieces of 1x4 spruce 21" long. Test fit them between the metal stampings on the package tray. Get a bottle of Gorilla Glue. Moisten the wood and the metal with water. Apply the glue to the wood. Place the wood in the test-fit locations. Apply a heavy weight to each piece of wood. Allow it to dry for a day. The glue will foam. Flip the liner back into place. Trim the liner along the edges of the wood. Take a measurement and cut a piece of 3/4" MDF to fit the floor of the package tray. Carpet or line it. Use 1-3/8" DW screws to attach MDF to newly installed cleats. Now install anything you want on the MDF with 3/4" DW screws. You will now have no danger of pierceing the tank.
