I'm trying to tell the difference between A & B MMs online by looking at the window sticker. Does the "B" have "Job #2 Order" under optional equipment?

In looking for my best deal my logic is as follows: If I find an "A" sitting at a dealer chances are it has been there for a while and the dealer is more likely to cut a deal. What do you guys think?

BTW There are a couple of Blue ones in stock in my area according to the Mercury online site.

Hey Art,

is your L on www.SVTregistry.com ?

Its really cool that you're joining the Marauder crowd!
It should translate in another line in your sig:

'03 Marauder (too many mods to list)

lol, thats a damn good line to have!

JerseyVics,
My L is not in the registry. I was active in the NLOC but not much recently. Going through a career change from public education (12 years) to real estate. SVT Registry cost anything?

BTW There are a couple of Blue ones in stock in my area according to the Mercury online site. The dealers in NY have plenty of 300A's. The main difference is that the 300B has traction control. The local dealers seem to make no effort to sell the ones they have in stock. John:)

Nope its absolutely Free... I launched it on f150online forums awhile back to bring the SVT community together... (always had problems getting Cobra and Lightning guys together localy... now its a must have at every meet here!)

If you have an itch however to spend some cash for a good cause you could certainly donate a few bux to my Supercharged Vic project... I'm on a fundraising campaing to get the project done by the time Ford 100th Anniversary rolls around.

OK, call me an idiot, too, but now I want to know whether I have an A or B. I've had the car a few months, and I don't think I have the window sticker anymore, so how do I know which I have?

Well Ross.......the answer to your question is in this thread but I will help ya along......Does your car have traction control ?
If so its a 300B.

Welcome aboard and enjoy the car.

Thanks for the reply, but let me sound even more stupid. If I don't know whether I have an A or a B, how do I figure out if I have traction control? I know a lot of you fellows have been working on cars for a long time, but some of us aren't as good as the rest of you mechanically, so be patient with us!

It will have a button on the left of the streeing wheel by the switch used to move the gas and brakes up and down.
