Another Diablo tune day!

Thanks to the generosity of Diablosports, myself and a couple other of the FL guys headed over to Diablo this morning to watch some custom tuning being done, FREE OF CHARGE!

I had another tuning file made up for my car reflecting some minor personal changes I wanted done.........changes to increase power and performance that is.

A couple of my shifts points were adjusted and I ADDED more timing into my tune, substantially in some locations.

The result?

Lighter load highway driving feels like I'm behind the wheel of a rocket when I want to pass another car. Off the highway I switched the OD off to test a more WOT response and the car gets going so fast it is uncontrollable! Just what I wanted, I'll just have to learn to stay off the pedal a little. I thought the base tune that comes with the kit was fantastic :) , just shows what the capabilities to play are!

A very good friend of mine had his Supercharged car tuned as well, but I won't steal his thunder, he can come on and tell everyone himself?

Thank You Tim. Scott Beer did a custom Dyno Tune to my Marauder Today. When my Marauder came in the first time 2 weeks ago it had 381 RWHP & 371 RWTQ. The first time Scott put the car on the Dyno after working on it for 1/2 a day it Dynoed at 401 RWHP & 382 RWTQ. 20 HP & 11 lbs TQ increase. It was running really good. For the past 2 weeks Scott was working on my tune and today it was back to the Dyno. This time I had the K&N Air charger kit added on and a DiabloSport MAFia added too. After working on it for a while it was dyno at 443 RWHP & 390 RWTQ. Thats a totle of 62 RWHP increase & 19 lbs RWTQ since the first day he started working on it. The car idles great & and takes off like a F16 Fighter Jet. Scott Beer & the crew at DiabloSport did a Great Job on my Custom Tune for my Marauder & I'm really Happy with the Results ! In the near future The SunShine State Marauders will be planing a Dyno Day at DiabloSport with Scott Beer & after we will be be taking a run down to Dania Beach for a Beach Party. A post will be made in the near future with the dates & time's.

After driving Zoltan's car 2 weeks ago, and driving it again after the tuning session, I'll I can say is that the results to his car are phenominal!

Scott Beer of Diablosports was not happy with the tuning progress 2 weeks ago, so he told Zoltan to give him some time to completely re-write a new tune for his Supercharged car from scratch.

The car idles so steady and low you have to listen attentively with the windows down to hear the engine.

When Scott changed the tune while the car was on the dyno and spent hours dialing it in, we could actually hear the positive change in the way the engine sounded under pulls, no imagination.

Performance Drivability: All the driver of this car has to do is just lightly touch the pedal and the car now reacts quickly, jumping to life with no hesitation, a big time improvement!

Sound: It does sound like a F-16 Jet, I thought I was at the Air and Sea Show in Ft. Lauderdale!

Scott did a great job all around and the increase in HP and TQ is just one indication. A lot of work was done on the timing and so forth, no standard setting here. Scott indicated Zoltan's fuel mileage should go up significantly now. Zolton will have to test it and get back to us.

The before and after drive of this car is night and day!

Those are some impressive numbers.....I bet you couldnt wait to leave and open up the car on the highway driving home......By the way there is a new post ragarding our Dyno day at Diablosport so everyone check it out

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank those who were indirectly responsible for providing the necessity to seek out fantastic tuning in the development of the Procharger kit!

The utilization of Diablosport has developed into a positive association for all involved.

You guys are getting me syked. My 60 lb injectors have arrived; hopefully the Kooks system will arrive (early) this week. Once installed and all together (MAfia extender is already in) I will be off to Diablosport for a mega tune. Doing everything that Scott Beer recommended for the motor. When done I should be at a safe 475 RWHP with a tune, maybe more. We'll see. Car pulled 475 before, but certainly not anywhere near safe. That is why Scott wanted the 60 lb's, long tube headers as well as the MAfia air extender. Gotta get the Air Box as well once Greg makes the deal. Tim's airbox is the boss. God these cars drive you crazy. But you gotta love it... Great numbers Zolton....
