You got to give Mac a lot of credit for taking the time and effort to actually make 5000 posts. Whether you agree with him or disagree with him you have to admit that he loves his car, and the community here. Some of his posts - and again, you may or may not agree with him - are rather long and stuffed full of interesting facts and figures. And of course all those interesting excursions he has made over the years.... like the trip to Autometer to get the 411 on our guages, or the time he was drving around in Michigan when the lghts went out. Gosh, there are so many good stories I bet each one here feels like he knows Mac like a next door neighbor.

His long rants on various and sundry subjects I find to be insightful and well written. Not some short comment summing up the subject as I am right here.

Todd and Marty lead Mac by about 200 posts (they are presently within 1 post of each other). The leader is Logan, with an amazing 4000+ more posts than Mac. Next is jgc61sr2002 with about 600 more than Mac. Then Todd, Marty, Mac, and next to Mac is Bigdogjim, trailing Mac by about 40 posts. Next is BillyGman about 50 behind Mac, then Cruztaker at about 60 behind. Next is RCSignals (about 360 behind Mac), which is really interesting because he hasn't posted much lately. Then there's a 1200 post gap to the next spot, which is Patrick, who also has been scarce around here. The rest of the usual suspects then show up at various levels in the 2000-3000 post range.

Thanks for your attention to detail, Donny, I'm relieved to know I don't hold the pole position. I never paid any attention to post count, and I'm not interested in racing anyone. I strive for quality, not quantity, if I'm going to give advice to a brother MM owner, I'd like it to be my best "IMHO", or, in the very least, something we all can laugh at.
