Today Livernois Performance had an open house. It was a nice event and the weather was great. I was the lone Marauder there although there was inside with work being performed on it. It had a boost gauge in it as well as 21 inch wheels. There was two dyno's and plenty of food. Lots of Mustangs as well as some other cars. They have a nice big shop. I don't know how their customer service is but a lot of people seemed happy. I won't have to worry since I have Lidio for all my work. Anyway, I have a few pictures to share. Enjoy!!

Looks like an impressive shop and even more impressive cars. Thanks for the picsAnd that's where it ends.... At MTP(where I work) Livernois is considered a joke among some of us. A friend of ours had 10K in engine work done and had is azz handed to him by a stock '03 Cobra. His engine has a forged bottom end, ported heads and TB, long tube headers, and a150 shot of giggle gas and a few other goodies. Sounds impressive just got no balls.

Another guy has a Saleen that was tuned by Livernois, couldn't run to save it's life. The guy had to take it to Lidio and have the tune redone. Now noone will even think about messin with him.

Now I don't know if these were flukes or what but a few of us stay away, we'll go to PHP or Lidio.

That's why I will stick with Lidio for all my performance needs. I feel like if you are getting good service somewhere why change. It was nice visiting another shop and seeing all the other cars.

Ive Been There Before There Prices Are Crazy ...
They'd have to be to fund that type of equipment I suppose.

I only take my car to Grand Muffler; I know a guy over there ;)

Slim;

Nice pictures! Any idea what mods are on the Lincoln Mark 7/8(?). Looks like some serious plumbing on the intake.

I normally do not like the lambo doors on any car but the lambo - but they look really awesome on that cobra for some reason. me like!

Posted before but worth repositing: Livernois tuned my engine and cracked a couple of pistons. They never told me about it until I asked. They lied to a friend of a friend and said they could get CP pistons for him. When they claimed they never said it, he asked about my Cobra blowing smoke on their dyno. They denied it ever being there. They built an engine for a guy I work with. Instead of align honing the block, they used different thickness bearings. He took it to Thompson Automotive (a reputable engine builder) and he wouldn't touch it. I've heard of a few other stories of engines they've damaged. There was even an article in MM&FF or 5.0 where there was a drag competition (don't remember the theme). There was someone with a Mach 1 (4V 4.6) fresh from Livernois that didn't make it through the competition. It was sidelined with engine damage. Stay away from Livernois.

I've had my new engine built and tuned at Alternative Auto and I couldn't be happier.
