The Downers Grove Friday Night cars shows usually have a theme every week.
June 10th is Ford and Mercury night.

It might be fun to get more than one [mine] out there that night.:cool:

something I actually know, ok all the cars park up and down Main street, Curtis street is where the featured cars park, and If you don't have the featured brand car, they kick you out. (I use to do it)

Alot of people in town come out and look at the cars.


Gotta get there early though as spots fill up really quick.

Every Friday night starting May 22 Downers Grove has a cruise night with a featured type of car. June 10th is Ford - Mercury night.

All types of cars park up and down Main street, which is [surprise here:coolman:] the main street through town. The featured cars get to park on Curtiss which is a side street but ususally is reserved for '75 and older cars or specialty cars.

It's usually very well attended when the weather is good and prime spots on Main St. fill up by 6:00 or 6:30. A lot of cars cruise up and down Main and it's fun to sit and watch the passing parade with the accompanying sounds of great exhausts.
