If anyone needs to know how to clean your remote key fob to your MM after it has been dropped in 4 quarts of used mororcycle oil, I know how.

You might want to try:
taking it apart,.. remove the battery,.. then go down Radio Shack and get some circuit board cleaner,.. like Triclorethaine (sp?)
..hmm .... I'm not sure but I think Isopropyl Alcohol [i]might[/] work?... anybody know for sure?

My shampoo thank you very much.
The fob is really pretty well designed. The rubber that makes up the key pad also serves as a gasket. I was lucky that no oil made its' way into the circuit board.
It also now has a pleasant aroma.
