MM sat for eight days, while I was out in NM. Returned last night, drove car and A/C worked fine. Today, had to make a trip to bank. While driving, the Climate Control FAN started to blow hard. OK. No problem. It's very hot out, and once the car cools, the fan will slow down as it normally does. Well, the fan continues to run fast. Note, A/C still works great, cooling car, just that the fan will not slow down. OK. Push the fan buttons on steering wheel, and on dash. Fan still runs fast. Here is the kicker. Push the OFF Button. All the vents shut down as they should, but FAN STILL RUNS FULL.

Appointment tomorrow morning with my Ford Dealer. Svc Mgr feels it probably needs a new "controller" that will have to be ordered. :( Hope it is something simple as I don't want to wait a long time for a part. Driving car up North in two weeks. :D

Just like Smokie said. Dealer had part in stock. In by 8am. Out by 9AM. What I like very much is that the part defaults to full fan. This allows the A/C (or heater) to continue working. If a part defaults to no fan, that could cause major problems if the A/C was on.
