Auto X video

I went to a side by side AutoX yesterday, got stomped by a turbo Miata in the first elimination round. Qualified 23rd out of 55 cars.

Yes I think I embrassed some people into giving their best performance, terrified of being beaten by a 4500lb barge is good motivation. I beat one miata, not sure if it was super or turbo. I will post a couple more videos when I can.

That's awesome, I now understand why you need the scrape guard under the engine.

Seems like with that weight slip you posted earlier, the rhino guard leaves you with a pronounced foward bias.

Kinda a short course isn't it? I'm used to seeing 50-60 second courses for even the fastest ricers. You got to tell those guys to kick the cones out a little bit more.

The plates and the ram bars are only 40lbs each. Its funny that is one of the few times I've sc***** it, and it was on video.

We usually have 40-50 second runs , but for the side by side ones its got to be smaller.

Videos look great!!! Your really moving through that small course. I like the inboard shot of you driving. My club instructor would have a field day with you. hehe:P Your driving looks smooth on the outside but from the inside it looks like your Marauder is putting up a good fight. :eek: :D

After seeing these video, I think a N/A Marauder would beat an N/A Impala. Especially with the right driver behind the wheel. ;)

How big are these videos supposed to be. Some of them seem real short. Like they are not complete.

about how amazing it was that you could get such a big car

Watched it---great performance! But I don't think you actually got beat by the Miata; I thought I heard the announcer say something to the effect of you rushed the greenlight....the Blue Beast wouldn't let you wait huh? :D

I never even thought about auto crossing in our big cars. However, you are good with it. Seems like you need to challenge other 4,000 lb. + cars and take home the trophy.

The bible is somewhat tedious at times and we where doing a car show as part
of the fundraiser for the friends church...Not really my cup of tea..But helping
the community benefits everyone...:) Strange though your so close but i have
never had the opportunity to meet up!!
