I bought my car in July of 04. I have made so many phone calls to this Mike Keso and the guy before him I should have them on speed dial. I have been lied to some many times I've almost given up on ever seeing a jacket.
I've called Mercury customer service also, no luck.
Any ideas???

I'm in the same boat as you (although I purchased my MM in November 04). I received the jacket card just a few weeks after the purchase, but no sign of the jacket. I've called them a couple times and was told that I'd have if by February, then buy March... then the shipment was going to be in and shipped back out to me by the end of April; still nothing.

Scott, you and I are in the exact same boat. I also bought mine in July of 2004, the 23rd to be exact. I got my first postcard in late August or early September and sent it off. I got yet another postcard in December and sent it off. I had one contact guy and then Mike. My last communication with him was on 3/16/05 when he told me that they were waiting for the XXL size, which I was told is as large as they would go even though I am a bit bigger and taller, and would send them all out at once.
We're talking about one of the largest auto companies in the world here, and it's coming up on a year and they can't get a damned jacket made. Even assuming every single MM sold generated a jacket, that's still only 11,000 jackets to distribute over a 2 year period.
Guess I'll leave another message, but am glad (or not!) to see that I am not the only one in this situation.
Thanks,
Norm

You all need to write a letter to the Better Business Bureau
and send a copy of the letter to Mike Keso.
Make sure you detail all calls and correspondence.
Make sure you send in any evidence you have that states
you are owed a Leather Jacket due to the purchase of said vehicle...
You should also copy Elena Ford on all your correspondence.
She was behind the Marauder project, and she needs to
come through on her promise and promotion.
I purchased my Marauder 1/2/2004.
I received my 2XL jacket about 5 months later.

I never got a card, but found out about Alan Pinter,@ beanstalk here.
After a couple calls I recieved my jacket a few months later.I would not give up yet,Great suggestions so far.
If this helps, Ford may be having a problem with vendors being able to supply the few remaining who did not recieve thier jacket.
Minimum number of orders? Just speculation.

I bought my '04 in January of this year. Received the postcard a month or so later. Got the jacket a couple months after that.
It's a decent jacket, but it's just a black leather jacket. Other than the zipper pull, there is no Marauder identification on it. It's really pretty blah. I'd be willing to pay a reasonable price to get one of the same quality that has the god's head embossed in the leather or some other readily identifiable sign that I'm a Marauder owner.
There are only a few thousand of us, but you'd think that would be a large enough market for Ford to offer a few unique things for us to show off in public. We would be paying our money to advertise for their Mercury Division. That ought to be a no-brainer for them.

So, you bought your car 6 full months _after_ me, and you already have your jacket and I don't? And Rick on page 2 bought his car a month before me and got his also within 3 months? Somethings wrong with this picture... :mad2:

I just talked with Mile Keso and he says the remaining jackets are all on order and we should have them in about two months. (Approx Aug 1st). Seemed positive about the timeframe.
Please don't shoot the messenger!!

We have been told two months for the last 12 months. Every month it's "wait two months".

And how is this news? Ford has been this way since at least the 80s. They've earned an off/on reputation... basically if ENOUGH people complain and make a decent sized dent (or potentially huge dent) in their wallet, Ford does something. This is typical of any US based business organization.
