Hi All,
Just saw this while surfing for news. I had to go out back and see if my silver MM was still there. Does it look like one to you? Compared to the white pickup truck next to it, it has larger wheels, lower profile rubber, and may have polished aluminum (or chrome) five spoke wheels.

Here is the link, tried to paste a photo but cannot figure it out.

Too difficult to tell from the photo for me. However, the lip around the rear wheel well looks too pronounced to be a Marauder. But, :dunno:

Maybe one of our Sunshine State Marauder brothers can get more info...

I hope it isn't another one...that would be 2 in a week...

Looks like one to me. What a demonic looking picture, looks like it has eyeballs of fire where the headlights normally are.

I say CV Sport for the reason there appears to be no chrome on it and the wheels look too dull.

My vote is that its a Grand Marquis.

If so, the oxygen tank in the front seat can be dangerous in a fire.

Im guessing its a Base Model LX or a Grand Marquis GS (98-02) with the locking criss cross wheel covers.

Dunno if its the light, but it does look like the door handles are body color and not chrome....

I saw this on the news too. Two things:

1) The door handles appear to be painted the body color. Is this the default for a LX Sport? My older LSE had the standard black handles.

2) Although it's hard to tell, the b-pillar moldings on the outside of the door appear to be black. Silver MM's are silver.

LX Sport in my opinion, the trunk lid looks different, sorry to see another go.

Looks like A Grand Marquis to me.

LX Sports don't have the body color cap on the side mirrors, ours are all black.

Grand Marquis have black b pillars and body colored mirror caps, possible LSE maybe, but Silver blends in with the chrome on the car.

Its a Panther regardless what coat of fur it has which means we may have a recall soon depending on what caused this car to flame up.

Me too! I hope it isn't a sign. CV, GM, MM -- all related, eh?
