Oasis Report question, please

Just got the Oasis report for my "soon to be 2003 Silver MM". Under vehicle description is says it's a 2003 Grand Marquis and under Body Style it says 4 door Sedan LS. Shouldn't the description be a Marauder? The engine code is correct and the Car Fax report calls it a Marauder. The paid off loan from the bank calls it a Marauder and the photos (haven't seen the car in person yet) definitely make it a Marauder. What gives? I thought Marauder was a unique model name. :confused:

The VIN sequence was shared with the Grand Marquis for the 2003 model year. In 2004 the Marauder has a unique VIN.

I thought Marauder was a unique model name. :confused:Long story short.....Mercury didn't give the Marauder its own "number" until 2004. "M75" was shared with GMs in '03. The '04 Marauders are "M79." My registration for my '03 says "Grand Ma." Had my local Ford dealer order me a new steering wheel under warranty. All they took was the VIN. A Grand Marquis steering wheel showed up (smooth "leather" wrap with no holes and a tiny bit lighter gray.) They had to reorder.
