I was surfing eBay tonight to see what's out there -- and was really surprised at the number of cars available... including a nice looking DTR in Houston... that's where I got my black 03. Wonder if the wife would like to trade in the Expedition???

Is that Adrian's car?

I am trying to think of who lives up that way. It's about 45 minutes north of me.

Hmmmm.....

The interior fiberglass work looks hidious. I guess the bobo shop in Compton couldn't paint to match. *hurls again* :puke:

I just picked up a black 04 with super low miles so I'm looking to get rid of the DTR 04 I have:

23,000 miles
Heated Seats
Cd- Changer
Brand New Tires
No door dings, paint work, or body work.
Excellent Condition inside and out.

Looking to get $23,000.00

Car is in Maryland and must go.

So Al, not to get personal or anything, but how many Marauders have you owned so far? You have to be near the top of the list.

This black one would be number 4. I would like to stay with the black one and add a Silver if I could find one.

I know of a Local(to me) DTR with a Trilogy for only about $28,000.

Me too... He put it on ebay. I've a hard time with the price when I could build another one with roughly the same mileage for less than $25-26k...

I know these cars were not cheap off the lot originally, but I just wish the prices would come down to make them a little more affordable for me (just wishful thinking). Especially since towards the end of last year they were rolling of lots for $22-$24K.

They are just running about $6-$8K more than my budget with the new kid on the way (due any day) and the wife getting the new car. So far the top car on my list is a 9 year old Impala SS since they fit what I want in a car and the budget I am looking at.

I did see an '03 Marauder here in Iowa a couple months ago for just over $16,000, but have no idea what kind of shape it was in and not sure if it sold yet or not. It was on Autotrader.com.

Sorry. Just putting my $.02 in here...

I spotted mine off Autotrader that a dealer had posted there and it was that price but it was Georgia & not Iowa though...near mint shape though.

Well, you will have that now and then...

I would be very willing to swing my car desire back to the Marauder from an Impala if the price were right. But the ones I have found that are even close to the prices of the Impalas I have looked at have about the same mileage as the Impala (I am looking in the 40,000-60,000 mile range for the Imapa). Biggest factor with the Marauder is that it is 10 years newer and has a much better interior (except for the seats, which I like better in the Impala).

I was looking at the exact same thing before I got the MM. I was looking in the 16K range and most MM's are above that but then i found the one I bought for 16K and never looked back.

I've wanted a Impala (90's) since they came out but when you think about it:

1. Old
2. Nice in its day but missing today's luxuries. No dimming mirror, etc.
3. Interior is aged looking. Seats may be nice but the dash layout is not pleasing as it screams old. That surf board of a dash is a turn off. Even the little switches for the locks and windows are those old toggle switch looking things from the 90's.

I like the horsepower but I want to also have a car thats comfortable and luxurious.
