I wonder if this is related to the infamous VW electronics? Either way, this poor car is toast!

That really sucks.
You know one of the VW's were recalled a few years ago for catching fire in NHTSA crash testing. This poor guy invested all that money, and in just a few minutes it was GONE.
That's what he gets for buying a VW. If you have to go German, go BMW IMHO.

HMMMM...Car was heavily modded, so who knows what started the fire.. :dunno:
Two comments:
1: Always leave the hood up and both doors open to assure the maximum flow of air/oxygen to feed the fire!
2: I love how young people are more interested in getting a good video of the carnage, than in trying to help prevent it.

MCA rules require them for shows. It looks like someone had a small one, but too late. Tough luck, I feel sorry for the poor guy.

The EXACT same thing happened to me when I was 19... My 1987 Trans Am burst into flames at the firewall (how ironic :o )
We did have a video camera,.. but we were more interested in trying to put out the flames. We didn't,.. we only fanned the flames and it caught the hood insulation,.. flame retardant my a$$!!!! :mad2:
We moved to a safe distance and just watched,.. it never occured to me to to video tape it.
I feel for the guy,.. I've been there.

If you are clicking at work, Yup! Our system has it is categorized as: Nudity, Tasteless/Gross. Course, that makes me want to click on it three times. :D
Some friendly advice -
As a general rule, if you are being blocked at work, you are also being tracked. Most gizmos that do the blocking on any medium to large scale can also produce reports of who went to what site and when. Just something to keep in the back of your head when tempted to click.

At my work, most of the other forums I frequent are fine at work... This one gets classified as "chat" after two pages in the forums... Just enough to see the titles of new posts
