I believe the only effective countermeasure is a spaghetti strainer wrapped in tin foil. The apparatus is them worn on the head 24/7 to block attempted feline mind meld. If that doesn't work... put your fingers in my ears and sing, 'FLINTSTONES, MEET THE FLINTSTONES.'"
