Car and Driver "Drive Fast" Racing Circuit!

This is pretty cool in my opinion! Marauders should get out there and REPRESENT! It's a wonderful idea for a team of Marauders (which Marty's car should be included.) Let's get the ball rollin'!

Car and Driver also claimed in this months 50th anniversary mag, that they invented the Marauder. They've also claimed that elsewhere. Before the Marauder came out they tried several times to get a Crown Vic to go 150 and they supercharged it. It was a year or so later the Marauder came out and Car and Driver says they were ripped off.

Well... yeah, they're kinda right. They had at least one black crown vic project (Crown Vinnie) that was at least in the spirit of the Marauder.

Think of how many people will enter. They don't have time. This is good enough, the fastest wins, and the courses are still fun! There will be more in the nationals I'm sure.

I don't have a Marauder but I plan to attend one or both of the ones in my area. I tried to drum up interest in another post a few weeks ago but didn't get a response. I'm still hoping for company but I'd go it alone just for the fun of it.

I thought they called it the "Lounge Lizard".
I liked the project, but I hardly think that the idea of taking a big comfortable car and making it fast was their idea. Maybe they also thought Al Gore invented the internet.

Not from NY and not a Marauder but I plan to goto the Philadelphia Park and Belmont Park events. Most likely both on Saturday.
