Today I went and had my exhaust modified. I got the sound I had been wanting :D . I had been reading the threads about what others had done and settled on this:
1. Flowmaster Delta 40 Series
2. Megs Delete Tips.
We put the the mufflers on and lowered it and started it. Not bad but not enough of the growl I was looking for  . We then put the delete tips on and it was just what I was looking for. Nice sound at idle and great sound under WOT. No interior drone. I have cruised at 70, 50 and 30 mph and no drone. At 70 the car almost as quite as stock. Took my buddy for a ride and he said it was perfect for this type of car. If you thinking about doing exhaust work consider the Flowmaster Delta 40 Series and the Megs Delete Tips. It is perfect. ;)

I did this several years ago. The drone in the Flowmasters increased with time. On our recent trip to Green Bay, my wife complained all the way there and all the way back about the drone. I had the Flowmasters removed and I now have Magnaflows. Quieter but still some growl. The better part is that my wife is quiet.

My son has inherited the Flowmasters.

How does Dennis' Cobra manifolds and X-pipe sound with the stock mufflers...or aftermarket ones?? Any drone??

I can ride in my Cobra for an hour or so and my ears ring for another hour...but I LIKE THAT!!!! :bows:

The MM is a "Travelin' Car" and ears ain't supposed to ring in dem!!
