Neat; but I'll tell you this: That little go-cart didn't outrun no Yamaha R1. :burn:

Two of those electric motors coupled to a cars drive train could be a cheap source of 100 hp when needed. Electric motors make all their tourque at low rpms. Could be a great way to make up for the 4.6's lack of tourque out of the hole. The new hybrid Accord attributes it's great 1/4 mile acceleration to the added electric motors.

I went back and looked at the text again, and you're correct; the guy on the Yahama chase bike said he had a hard time keeping up. (at first) Dunno what you know about the Yamaha R-1 but I believe it's the world's fastest bike, or, if not, darned close to it. :banana2:

LOL.....I wanted to give You and Rick a ride also, but I was almost out of gas* after Chris and Gordon's test rides. :( :o

I didn't realize how FAST 468 cubic inches and 8 barrels burns gasoline!!!

Plus,.... I was making a hell of a racket on that same stretch of country road with the sidepipes!

Hopefully we'll have good weather at the next CAM meet and I can offer a few more test rides.

*It turns out that I only had @ 2 gallons left in the tank when I stopped to fill up....yikes!

I went off to make a raid on the Seiko outlet, but doubt if I would have been able to get into the wee thing, Joe; never mind getting back out!
It was a pleasure to see you and the car though; that Cobra, is in a word, superb.:)
