:DHell, there are lots of weapons that will take out a TV quicker than that. I got bored waiting for something to happen. I'm a little confused about the fire too. Maybe it was the tracer BBs that started it.

That is cool. But have you ever seen Punkin Chuckin? Pumpkin heavy artillery is the coolest.

There is a thing called AirSoft. They shoot little plastic BB's. Some are biodegradeable plastic and some are metal but they are still lighter than normal BB's. The metal ones take more compressed air to fire but they have better penetration. It's a sport originating from Japan I think. More realistic weapons and gameplay than paintball. The cartridges only hold what a normal weapon would. So a handgun only hold enough pellets and air to fire about 15 shots. A submachine gun has a battery and piston to fire the pellets but the cartridge only holds 30 pellets. A sniper rifle is usually bolt action. Gameplay work with the honor system because the pellets leave no mark like paint would.

A minigun like that would go for about $1,500 - $2,000 if I remember correctly. I don't think they make them anymore.

Contrary to what Hollywood says, firing a rifle at an object usually just punches a bunch of small holes. I.e. firing a M16 or AR-15 (.223 Remington / 5.56x45 NATO) at something like a block of wood will just punch small .22" holes into the wood. It won't blow it up, shatter it to pieces, etc...

If you fire a .30 cal bullet (7.62x39 actually 0.311", 7.62x51 NATO / .308 Winchester) at the same wood, you will get a bunch of 0.30" holes.

If you fire a 12 gauge slug, you can punch a rather large hole into the wood which may cause it to shatter.

That 'BB' minigun is $5300!!!!!!

WTF???!!!

If it was at LEAST a .22 LR it would be interesting to shoot, but BBs????

A .22 LR minigun would make an awesome "Varmint" eliminator.

There wouldn't be anything left but blood and guts. CSI anywhere wouldn't be able to find out what it was.

FYI there's an Australian vendor that is making a weapon that fires a million+ 9mm rounds per minute. It uses percussion? piezo charges that ignite each cartridge so there are no moving parts. It's supposed to be used as some type of missile defense eventually.

Then there's also a "shotgun" load for the M1 Tank. It fires a bunch of "buckshot" at a FRIENDLY target to clear it off of swarming zombies/insurgents w/o damaging the vehicle or hurting the crew. I'd like to see the choke tube for that setup! "How many birds remain on the tree when you fire this weapon? NONE. They're all dead along and the tree no longer exists"
