Silver Marauder on TV

Between 730-800am this morning Iam watching Sportscenter and a Mercury"Big car clearance sale" commercial comes on, Its set in a showroom and all the cars are silver,as they are telling us what cars are getting what the camera is doing a 360 pan around the showroom and in the background of some of the shots is a silver Marauder,the shots are brief but you cant mistake those rims(the Marauder was not even mention) I was having my first coffie of the day but Iam sure it was what I saw anyone else see this?

MAD-3R, that's sort of true, but the Marauder is presented as a stand alone model. It has it's own Order Guide, not just an option code listing in the Grand Marquis Order Guide

Let's face it. L/M just doesn't get it.

They should kill Mercury and combine Lincoln with the other high
end Ford badges.

All they need to do is make the Cougar into a Ford Capri.

Either that, or let me take over Mercury. Within 6 years every teenage
kid in the industrialized world would be daydreaming about picking up a
new Merk.....rather than a stinkin Toyota.

The base motor for a Cougar would be a 4.6intech. Mountaineer
becomes "Marquis De Sade" SUV.....4.6intech.....19s....b lacked out..
blued out.... redded out...whited out. No more hockeystick...

RWD 300hp Cougar is priced at $24k with decent amenities and 17s.
Mustang/Cougar base is used to make Sable replacement.... The Comet.

Blown 4.6s and 5.4s available as options on everything. All Merc shops
start offering Warranty friendly mods aplenty (can you say profit
center?). Comets driven by soccer moms easily eat rice on a daily
basis.

Mercury rejects Euro/Asian concepts of cool. If we keep looking at
Euro sports as a model for american performance we give up our
greatest asset.

New model Marauder receives terrible reviews by most car reviewers.
Called, "Terrifying and deeply menacing" most feel that the retirees
will reject the new body treatment of the S55 and X-100 Marauder
models.

No wait, the everything on sale special, except the coolest car doesn't get mentioned.
They rather show the Minivan ! Over and over.
