An Insurance Clearinghouse, I searched for Salvage MMs and came up with those.

someone took the airboxs anf mafs.... im going to be twisting and turning in my sleep tonight. there was an accident like a year ago that i went to. it was a black marauder and it was really nice, had all the bells and whistles. a dodge ram truck hit the front, i guess it cut it off, and sent the marauder into a fire hydrant, spun around and the rear end into a utiliy pole. it wasnt a great day for me. made me sick.
where at did you take them pics at? a junkyard?

.........we all agree (least I do) with your reporting stats===cause thats all I think any of us have heard of---but with only 11k MM made (all colors)----we could be in the 4 digit numbers now with wrecks and the time spent since their debut..WOW--we're getting to be more extinct...humm...that to me means more valuable---...and after upgrading mine to ....well ...don't know as yet what it's worth--that is a relative term--it don't matter--to me it means all of ours are a bit more valuable than we think....ya see--the chevy SS' s (94-96) were in the 60 -70K made or more- (up for corrections here)--us ....well ...do you think they are down to 4 digits yet?..I seem to see alot
of them still today--so I say no--I believe they are more of them still today than us..( remenber --we are only 11K to start with)--

OK --enuff- said- hate to see the Mighty MM go down a shown--I saw mine--thats was bad enuff------after the holidays--..my third new ride --same car----can't wait---thanks for enlighting us though on these pics----Tom

I cant confirm it, But a Totalled Blue Marauder was seen in a savage lot by my co-worker up in Orange County NY. He owns a 04 MM after taking a Ride in my 03. He Called me to see If I wanted to go 50/50 on the cost and use it for parts for our cars. However This was on a Saturday he saw it, By Monday it was gone. Im going by word of mouth, I havent seen it with my own eyes, But I've Known my Co-worker for over 5 yrs and hes always been honest about everything.

The blue will take some work, but it has promise. The black is not a car anymore. Only salvage I could imagine, was maybe a set of lug nuts.

I agree. The Blue can be brought back from the dead. however the Black one is horrible to look at. I have never seen a car look like that before. I have to think a Train or a Semi wiped that one out. Either that or he wiped out at 130mph and bounced off every tree for a 1/2 mile before it exploded.

Yeah the DPB is salvageable, the black..... maybe the wheels if they aren't too crispy. Otherwise I think I hear FLS in the background

Probably destroyed in insurance scams because the owner didn't like the idea of spending $30k for a car that isn't even faster than some of the $20k-$30k imports that hold their resale values. :P

I find the picture of the blue Marauder, where they show the door jambs, to be most interesting. These cars are no longer hand-sprayed, see what I mean?

First off, I didn't spend $30,000 for my car. Also, I have no problem putting imports to shame. I guess this is the price you pay for a 4V DOHC engine, not a two valver.

SergntMac's #61 post "per the VA State Police" >>>> Here (http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=18638&page=5&pp=15&highlight=Richmond) <<<<<< says that it was a Blue MM. Kinda difficult to tell after the fire.

Oh That makes sense. Do you think that a Import piece of crap will be worth anything in 15yrs compared to a Limited run Marauder?? I think Not...

Like I don't have enough unfinished projects around the garage, but I sure wouldn't mind trying to put the blue one back together. Sling the body off and run a new frame under it..piece of cake. So if anyone has any of the contact info to try and purchase any of these at a resonable price and without having to be a licensed salvage yard, let us all know...

They are deployed and nicely re-packed. Go figure.
