In the gallery posted by RoyLPita is this one Marauder that obviously caught by eye, I can't believe he didn't post it (or did I miss it?)

The original thread on this goes back to August 2004. :D Check Here >>>> Marauder Flames Thread (http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=11981&highlight=flames)
Do a search on "flames" or "ghost flames" and there was another similar thread last September.

This is the car from Ebay in August. I was looking at the Auto Trader one day and saw the VIN for it. I remembered this VIN because it was at 2 other dealers in Pittsburgh. The dealer that has this MM had the paint work done. When I called about it recently, there were sending it back to the paint shop to get rid of "scalloped paint" work. Fast forward 2 weeks later, back at the dealer, no work performed. From what I was told, if I didn't purchase this MM, it was going to auction.

Is this the same as, "If you don't take this puppy he goes to the shelter?"

After being on the lot for 10 months, time to take what one can get.

Maybe it didn't sell because the dealer RUINED it with that bizarre paint job...

Did you guys ever consider that the ORIGINAL OWNER may have painted the car that way ?
The Garage in the back also looks a lot like Ray's (TheDealer) Dealership.

The paint work was done by the current selling dealer. They wanted to add some flair to it. I guess it didn't work in their favor. As I stated before, I tracked this MM from 2 other Pittsburgh dealers.
BTW, This MM is in Ohio.
