This is the GO 700 GPS:

"Take GPS, add Bluetooth, season to taste — you’ve got yourself a fine car navigation system that gets friendly with your phone to provide both voice and data connectivity. The TomTom go 700 SatNav unit provides hands-free communication via Bluetooth link to your phone, much as your Bluetooth would. The on screen GUI also provides access to your phone’s contact list and allows you to place calls directly from the unit. One sweet new feature is the inclusion of a 2.6GB hard drive, which obviates the need to be switching SD cards when you need to change map sets (units will ship with a full set of street level maps of the USA and Canada). The unit’s processor gets a bump up to 400 Mhz, with RAM at 64MB. One more handy feature: the unit is expected to take advantage of the TomTom plus traffic service via your phone’s GPRS connection, providing real time traffic information as well as weather, news, and additional features."

It also can be installed in an acessory cradle that charges the unit, and detects when the headlights are on, which switches the on the "night view" map for easier night vision reading. The cradle also connects into the stereo system and will fade down the music to send the incoming call to the car's speakers. It includes a remode microphone for cabin voice pickup.

There is an accessory wireless remote that can be used anywhere in the car and mounted in a convenient location (like the steering wheel) which allows use of the unit without using the touch screen.

The Plus service includes downloads via satellite of speciality maps for cities, and the voice can be changed to various celebrities or characters (ny cabbie, grandmother). John Cleese is one of the licensed voices.

The standard face plate is brushed aluminum. They offer custom face plate to suit your taste.

CompUSA is showing it as "available soon" for $899.

I think I may take the leap with this product. Currently I am using a Nokia hands free car kit installed on a ProFit vehicle specific mount. I have been wanting to upgrade to Bluetooth cellular, but our OEM head unit has no provision for Bluetooth hands free cellular calls. I can install this unit where the Nokia HFCK is, pick up GPS navigation, and Bluetooth wireless cellular.

I enjoy getting lost. This is why my license plate says "CRUZN MM" so when people see it they think "Oh he's not lost, hes just cruising around in circles" :D
