Had five cars come out to be appraised. An customized 96 Tahoe, a 31 Ford Vicky street rod, an 87 Turbo Regal, a 66 Mustang Vert, and an 89 Turbo Trans Am. All beautiful number 1 quality cars. Terry did an excellent job appraising them. We had about a dozen spectators show up to. One guy showed up in his 61 Olds Starfire Vert just to hang out too. We Bar b qued some burgers and dogs and had a real nice time. Think I'm going to do this again on a Sunday in Oct. This would be after the show season and not a holiday weekend. Jimmy Biggs shot a real nice TV show. He interviewed Terry Shaw who had a lot af information to give to everyone about appraisals. Terry is a very interesting guy to talk to since he's been doing this for 40 years. He is known nation wide. Has helped settle some huge cases, for losses, divores, estates, fraud, lemon law, and even fires in museums, classic car dealers and warehouses. He has appraised cars for many famous people like Elvis Presley. Terry and his brother came from owning speed shops in the Philly area and then started this about 40 years ago. It was fun. Ray

Ray...We don't have anything on the MM calendar for late Fall, "October-ish", other than our annual visit to Seymour IN., with Dennis. Not yet anyway.
Throw something together that includes key words like road trip, hot dogs, friends, and add an opportunity for an expert appraisal (which is really a new twist to things we haven't done yet...ahem...along the line of learning our true "collector" value), and I am sure you will draw us to Philly.
In fact, write me down for a Oct./Nov. date now. I will be on vacation and have nothing on my plate right now. I am sure that by then, others here will climb aboard for this meet, maybe do it all one more time in '05, for those in service abroad? Besides, I need one more classy "dash" plaque under my hood to balance things out. What do you say?
