Never say never. Pigs flew over Liva 8! These guys said they'd never do it again! Not only did Pink Floyd play, they were awsome and seemed to enjoy themselves.

:bows:

MTVs coverage of the history making event stunk! I can not wait for the DVD!

was it on TV? Pay-per-view? cable? How can I see it?

I remember seeing The Wall on HBO(?) in '82... I was 8. I've been a big fan ever since.

It's sad it wasn't covered better, I can only hope the DVD will show how great this event really was. I just happened to get home right before Pink Floyd went on Saturday, it was great to see the band together and sounding like they never missed a beat. The vocals were a bit off but nothing else. Superb effort worthy of :bows: :2thumbs:

MTV on the other hand. . . :loco: absolutely loco breaking in just before Gilmour's solo in Comfortably Numb, what were they thinking?

I believe you can see the whole show here for free

MTV FUBARed the coverage with a nit-wit VJs comentary during Comfortable Numb and then cut the end solo!!!

AOL music had it. When I find a link, I'll post it. I taped the MTV broadcast. It is better than nothing.

EDIT: Best i can find being so soon after the show :

Unfortunately, MTV has absolutely NO respect...there was NO reason but one, to interrupt such a historic tune: MTV has long ago forgotten its roots in deference to the Almighty Commercial Dollar...it's sad, really...
