Fender emblem

I think it would be sweet to get Mac's marauder sig. with the checkered flag made into an emblem that we can have put onto our front fenders just behind the front wheels. :)

ked1976: I have a meeting this Tuesday with a decal shop. I am looking into getting that emblem put on the fender. It is from the '60's Marauder and for me a link to the past. I do not care for the M logo that Mercury saw fit to put front/rear. There has been a lot to chatter about this. I will let all know what I come up with.

I am having the following put on my MM this Tuesday.

4.6L DOHC 32V

MARAUDER
Silver letters on top red on bottom. This will go on the front door body side molding.

One of Logan's Texas friends did this a while back and I though it look sharp. Price installed was only $25.

What I have in mind for my car is to get the bumper inserts, side window decal of the god's head with Marauder underneath it, front fender decal, mac's would be my pref. I think that putting Marauder in the door guard mld. would be perfect, and get the newer style wing spoiler, I'm on the fench about getting a pin stripe put on the sides yet.

Being from a carpenter background I like to build up the outside before I work on the inside finish work. I purchased my MM on 5th of Sept. and still only have 1,200 miles on it, boy this winter stinks. Talked to Dennis and will be ordering the stage 1 mods, money permitting. :P

ked1976: Tell me about the winter, how it sucks! Got my MM 9-28 and got 2500 miles. I will let you know about the fender decal soon. I meet with the company on Tuesday.

You guys gotta get out and drive the bad boys. Picked mine up on 11/03/02 and it passed 13000 on the way to work tonight. Just took the winter tires off Saturday. 'course I run 500 miles a week give or take, so that's why the mileage is building up quickly.

I really like the '4.6 High Performance' emblems that they sell at PPI but they're just too big............:rolleyes:
