From that view, it looked like the Buick may have tapped the Mustang, on the go-round.

Maybe their was a reason the Buick racer held out so long.

Don "The Snake" Prudhomme always thought he had the right to stage last, and it led to pissing contests like the one we just saw. Some guys would mess with him, and others would just ignore his stchik and go racing. Either way, 'ol Don won a lot of races in those days. Of course with top fuel dragsters, you couldn't wait too long, 'cause you'd run out of nitro or overheat. ;)
